Ron "R-Truth" Killings returned on WWE Raw. WWE Raw advertised the return of R-Truth/Ron Killings, as well as first-round action for the King and Queen of the Ring. Raw also advertised John Cena's final appearance in Phoenix as part of his farewell tour and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella also made her return. In the main event, Jey Uso lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther. John Cena addressed R-Truth, after the return of Ron Killings last night, calling Truth a gimmick and saying nobody will care about him in a year. Cena also called Truth a 'sideshow' whose greatest accomplishment is trying to be him. Of note, Cena referred to him as R-Truth. Cena revealed he has just 19 dates left. Cena was then interrupted by CM Punk. Punk called back to Cena beating him with the STF at Elimination Chamber, but not before apologizing. CM Punk told Cena he's coming after his Undisputed WWE Championship, and Cena said he'd rather defend it at Night of Champions. Punk will have to follow Cena to Saudi Arabia, where Punk would be working for the first time. Seth Rollins stared down John Cena on his way to the ring before the segment ended. Chad Gable/El Grande Americano—at the very least—deserves a championship soon. This man has worked three high-quality matches in the course of three days, and it feels like he can work three more. Wrestling (and losing) his third match in 48 hours, Michael Cole mentioned Gable's hellacious match against El Hijo del Vikingo, but made no mention of his Money in the Bank match as El Grande Americano. After Gable's loss, Cole did suggest he should have dressed up as El Grande Americano. Before the match, Roxanne Perez once again tried to convince Liv Morgan to work together, only to be rebuffed by Liv. Despite Liv being cold to Perez, the two worked together to neutralize Rhea Ripley. This opened the door for Kairi Sane to hit a comeback on Perez and Morgan. Ripley reentered the match with a great dropkick. Just when it seemed like Rhea had the match won, Raquel Rodriguez pulled her out. Sane hit an Insane Elbow on Liv Morgan, but Perez stole the win with a rollup. While on her way to the ring, A-Town Down Under was aggressively bickering. The argument ended with Grayson Waller storming off. Wouldn't it be hilarious if after building their split for a year, the payoff was a backstage argument. Backstage, Nikki Bella shared pleasantries with Natalya, Maxxine Dupri and Iyo Sky. Becky then walked out with her new IC Title, once again shouting out her hot husband. Lynch sold a shoulder injury due to Lyra Valkyria raising her hand too hard. ("She tried to kill me!") Becky Lynch invited Lyra to the ring to raise her arm again, but this time, 'raise it right.' Before Lyra could get into the ring, Bayley jumped Lynch from behind. Lyra looked a bit miffed at being upstaged, and I'd love to see Lyra join Becky as a heel. R-Truth cut an impromptu promo on the announce table. 'Don't let nobody tell you that you don't matter. Don't let nobody tell you that your voice doesn't matter. They heard, they listened, they felt and they understood! I am back, because of y'all!" Truth said he was back because of the fans, but also for himself. Truth said we all love R-Truth, but R-Truth can be too funny, too nice and he's too forgiving. Truth said he felt alive. In response to anybody who thinks he's a sideshow act, he cut his hair off. Fans chanted 'holy shit!' Truth said the Truth has set him free and he is Ron Killings. Bron Breakker was highlighted early and often with a cavalcade of spears and impressively athletic spots. The more he dominated, the less likely it felt like he was being booked to win. Fans were really into Dirty Dom, who should turn babyface soon, but at the same time, Dom probably has another heel run in him alongside Roxanne Perez. As Breakker approached God Mode, LA Knight hit the ring and took out Bron Breakker as revenge for spearing Knight at Money in the Bank. This opened the door for Sami Zayn to pin Dominik after a Helluva Kick. Backstage, Karrion Kross sarcastically congratulated Zayn. Nikki Bella seemed a bit nervous in her first promo in a while, but she received a warm reception in her hometown. Nikki (who mispronounced Stephanie Vaquer's last name) acknowledged the evolution of the women's division, as well as the upcoming Evolution pay-per-view. Nikki was interrupted by Liv Morgan. This was a women's segment in WWE, so Morgan taunted Bella over her recent divorce. Nikki fired back by telling Morgan she was going to lose her man to Roxanne Perez. Liv laid Nikki out with an Oblivion, teasing one of the key matches for Evolution. Jey Uso Yeeted to the ring flanked by his son for his biggest world title defense yet. Gunther mauled a hobbled Jey Uso after a quick start from Jey. Gunther ripped Uso's t-shirt off to reveal Jey's heavily taped ribs. Throughout the match, the announcers expressed concern for Jey Uso, saying his speed was a little bit off after taking so many beatings in recent weeks. Uso continued to sell his ribs after a suplex on Gunther. Gunther trapped Jey Uso into a rear-naked choke for so long, at one point they all furiously rallied behind Jey thinking he might lose. Uso eventually reversed the move to a huge pop for the WrestleMania callback. Gunther trapped Jey Uso in the Rear-naked Choke yet again, and Jey finally passed out. Gunther won.

CM Punk vs. AJ Styles vs. El Grane Americano. Credit: WWE WWE Raw advertised CM Punk vs. AJ Styles and El Grande Americano for the final men's Money in the Bank spot. WWE also advertised Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile and Liv Morgan for the final women's Money in the Bank spot. The Judgment Day faced The War Raiders, and Sami Zayn and Jey Uso faced Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. CM Punk vowed to win the Money in the Bank match and said he'd either cash it in on Jey Uso or John Cena. Punk called Dwayne Johnson a 'bald fraud and a goof' when referencing The Rock, who bought Cena's soul. Punk kissed up to the Oklahoma City Thunder, who will be appearing in the NBA Finals. Michael Cole was wearing a Pacers jersey after losing a bet with Pat McAfee. Sami Zayn interrupted Punk, and as his music died down there were slight 'we want Truth' chants. Sami Zayn cut a promo on Punk saying Punk has to win the briefcase to keep it from Seth Rollins. Apparently, Sami was unaware there are seven other five other stars who can win Money in the Bank outside of Rollins. Sami's promo had the same vibes as Will Ospreay imploring Hangman Adam Page to beat Jon Moxley at AEW All In Texas, except in this case, fans actually care about the heel stable. Backstage, Ivy Nile told Roxanne Perez to stay out of her way. Roxanne obliged. Just like she did in AEW, just like she did in NXT, Stephanie Vaquer was over the moment she stepped through the smoke during her entrance. Fans chanted 'Stephanie!' before the match even began. Vaquer performed her scissor stomp, and Pat McAfee was utterly terrible in his Booker T impression. Vaquer won the match with the Devil's Kiss on Ivy Nile, and I would have no problem if WWE put the rocket on her immediately with a Money in the Bank win. Vaquer had a backstage moment with Rhea Ripley after her win. After Liv Morgan's loss from earlier, suddenly it's Finn Balor who is winning matches while his Judgment Day contemporaries are struggling. The New Day once again appeared on commentary to troll the War Raiders. Roxanne Perez interfered, successfully distracting the War Raiders as Finn Balor picked up the win with the Coup de Grace. As a result, Liv Morgan lost without the help of Perez, while Balor and JD McDonagh won with Perez's help. Backstage, Becky Lynch cut a promo on Lyra Valkyria about how she's in a lose-lose situation headed into Money in the Bank. Lyra Valkyria called out Becky Lynch to confront her live. Lynch obliged, but when Lyra tried cutting her promo, fans gave poor Lyra the 'What' treatment. Valkyria and Lunch brawled at the end of the segment, and had to be separated by WWE officials. Both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed's music was used in their entrance themes, further evidence that WWE has yet to come up with a group name or music for this faction. There was an excellent spot where Breakker and Reed (dressed in all black) caught Sami Zayn and Jey Uso hit a Suicide Dive to topple all three of them over. Sami Zayn, also dressed in all black appeared out of nowhere to hit a Curb Stomp for the DQ. As Bronson Reed teased a Tsunami on Zayn through a table, CM Punk saved the day with a steel chair. Backstage, Zayn had another confrontation with Karrion Kross, who once again tried to tempt him to turn heel. Backstage, Morgan warned Finn about Roxanne Perez, implying she doesn't trust either of them. Balor reminded Morgan that things didn't go Liv's way last week or this week. Morgan shot down Balor's idea to have Roxanne corner Raquel Rodriguez. Balor then teased coming after Dom's IC Title. The highlights of this match were all the times fans loudly chanted 'We want Truth!' and 'We want R-Truth!' They also chanted 'What's Up?!' The announcers blatantly ignored the chants, except when Pat McAfee finally said 'That's what's up!' As The Judgment Day benefited from the numbers game, Iyo Sky made the save and attacked Liv, who had another backstage moment with Iyo earlier in the night. Kairi capitalized on the distraction and defeated Raquel with an Insane Elbow. The way this storyline is headed, Liv Morgan is going to dethrone Iyo Sky and Roxanne Perez very well may be holding the Money in the Bank briefcase while Liv is world champion. CM Punk's entrance received the Xfinity decibel meter treatment, and it peaked at around 101 decibels. At the request of CM Punk and AJ Styles, referee Shawn Bennett checked El Grande Americano's mask to make sure there was no steel inside. Silly babyfaces, El Grande Americano usually puts the steel in his head during the match, not before. Punk and Styles immediately dumped El Grande Americano out of the ring. After taking a hard hit from Styles, Punk appeared to lose a tooth, but it may have been chewing gum. Punk teased unmasking El Grande Americano, and there was a huge pop until Americano thwarted the unmasking with a jawbreaker over the rope. There was a dueling chant of 'He's Chad Gable/No he's not!' Breakker pulled Punk out of the ring as he was going for the win. Jey Uso and Sami Zayn saved Punk, which played into what Gunther told Jey backstage: that Jey can't help but save all his friends when he should be focusing on his match against Gunther. Of course, El Grande Americano won with a diving loaded headbutt to AJ Styles. Rollins, Breakker and Reed laid out the babyfaces to end the show. This included, not one, but two Tsunamis on Jey Uso who continues to spread himself too thin.

Bronson Reed Returns At WWE Saturday Night's Main Event
Bronson Reed is officially back, and he's found himself a new home in one of WWE's biggest factions. During tonight's WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, Reed surprised the WWE Universe by returning. He interfered in the opening match, a tag team bout between CM Punk & Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. Late in the match, Reed climbed over the security barricade and launched himself and CM Punk through a barrier. Reed's interference allowed Rollins and Breakker to win. After the match, Reed climbed into the ring and seemed ready to fight Breakker. However, Rollins stopped him, and gave a big hug to Reed. Paul Heyman couldn't believe it, and the group began celebrating. CM Punk tried to get back into the ring and grab Heyman, but Reed hit a big drop on him, then followed it up with a Tsunami. Advertisement Reed had previously been away from wrestling since Survivor Series: WarGames in November 2024. During the event, he suffered a foot injury while teaming with The Bloodline against Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk. Reed is back now, though, and seems ready to run WWE with Rollins and his team. Bronson Reed Returns, Attacks CM Punk At WWE Saturday Night's Main Event
CM Punk suffered a rare defeat at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 2025, thanks to a shocking return from Bronson Reed inside the Yuengling Center in Tampa. At WWE's latest NBC special, Punk and Zayn fell to Monday Night Raw's top duo, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker, when Reed returned after several months out of action and attacked Punk, allowing Breakker to hit Zayn with a massive spear and pin him for the victory. Punk's loss on Saturday was the latest step in the seemingly never-ending saga between Rollins and Punk, who have been at each other's throats since Punk returned to WWE in November 2023. Only, WWE has somehow managed to keep their rivalry fresh and exciting, with Rollins' heel turn and alignment with Paul Heyman at WrestleMania 41 completely flipping the script. Entering WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, it was important that Rollins and Breakker, both new heels, start off on the right foot as Raw's powerhouse duo. They are, after all, attempting to fill a gap as WWE's top staple, a spot that isn't easy to step into after the success their predecessors have had over the past couple of years. WWE has relied heavily on two stables on both Raw and SmackDown for nearly half a decade: The Bloodline and The Judgment Day. However, The Bloodline as WWE fans have come to know it all but gone while The Judgment Day isn't what it was at its peak with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. Enter Reed, who appears to be the latest addition to a star-studded stable featuring Rollins and Breakker, who's long been in line to be a focal point of Raw on Netflix. Now, Breakker is getting the biggest spotlight of his career, and at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, he peaked up one of the most significant wins he's ever had, too. Breakker has become a human highlight reel since joining the main roster, and that was evident in Tampa. Now, he has a fellow human highlight reel in Reed by his side. In a way, Rollins is becoming the means to an end for Breakker, serving as a launching pad for Breakker in much the same way that The Shield elevated him to full-blown super stardom. Of course, there are no guarantees that Breakker will be as successful as WWE is positioning him to be, but up until this point? So far, so good. Up until WrestleMania 41, Breakker had spent his entire main roster career toward the upper midcard, but now, he's involved in WWE's most significant angle alongside its most important stars, like Punk, Zayn and Roman Reigns. Just a month after his alignment with Heyman and Rollins, Breakker is significantly better off because it and on the right trajectory to further success in the months ahead. Now, Reed, much like Breakker, figures to benefit greatly from his association with Rollins and Heyman. That's a win-win situation for the wildly talented Reed, who was a huge hit on Raw in late 2024 before a devastating ankle injury suffered at Survivor Series sidelined him for half a year. What's more, Raw's top storyline has intertwined many of the red brand's most important stars, and at Saturday Night's Main Event, we saw a perfect example of that when Reed joined the mix. With Raw's Netflix viewership consistently declining, WWE's next step is to find its next money-making storyline. For years, that was The Bloodline, and under Triple H's creative regime, it's factions that have carried its programming to so much success over the past few years. Thus, the pressure is on Breakker, Punk and company to make this storyline as captivating as possible at a time when Raw viewership is down and the post-WrestleMania lull often results in a downturn in quality. But with Reed's big return at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event adding yet another later to this already intriguing storyline, things are looking up for the red brand.
